Scattered Legacy

Abigoba Quintet - Scattered Legacy is due for release on the 11th March 2014 worldwide via Label FeverDog Music

The album is as one expects a mix of Jazz /Nu -Jazz with a very noticeable soulful depth throughout.

Since the beginning of 2013, Jean-Luc Briançon and his team gave the project Abigoba a new color, more intimate, as a quintet, originally instrumental, with Jean-Luc Briançon (Keyboards / Leader) Franck Boutin-Albrand (acoustic and electronic percussion), Raphael Minfray (Trumpet), Yann Van Eijk (Drums) and Terence Vincent (Bass). Two new guests brought their voices to the project: Sabine Kouli Matomswé, Lyon Gospel diva and Avril McGourty, Irish singer. Recorded mostly live, 'Scattered Legacy' speaks of this heritage scattered 'who built the Abigoba project. He draws his inspiration as always in the vast universe of electric jazz. There are also pop accents (Led Zeppelin cover) and electronic (Title with Manda Zamolo, ex-Morcheeba and the famous Erik Truffaz).

This album is also the opportunity to share a personal legacy of the group, by revisiting its flagship titles, where each artist reaffirms its place in the compositions to provide an eclectic music genres released, but scattered rebuilt goshawks interaction and personality of each member or speaker of album 'Scattered Legacy' and the Abigoba universe.
