► I do remember our bemusement when the Budokan audience did not respond the way we were used to and when asking our promoter why, he said we had to tell them they were allowed to participate with the music and do whatever they felt like, like singing, dancing, clapping along and come up in front of the stage if they wished to!

The next night at Björn's announcement, the audience lifted the roof and we were all happy!
The New Otani Hotel in Tokyo was very special, with an enormous driving range outside our hotel windows. We tried Japanese traditional massage and for many years I kept a gown, which had the New Otani named woven into the fabric, until it was almost transparent and I finally had to throw it away!
One night I woke up with an odd feeling. My bed was moving and it took a few seconds before I realized it was because of an earthquake and that the whole building was swaying. Thank god it didn't last for long!

And I remember the four of us walking together in the Ginza shopping area and to our amusement noticed that we were giants compared to the delicate Japanese people, and later Benny and I sneaked into a cinema where they played a movie with Elizabeth Taylor that was dubbed to Japanese with English subtitles!!!

Finally, I cannot write this without mentioning the delicious Japanese food. It was a culinary adventure for 4 young Swedish people.

Thank you for all your hospitality and kindness on our visits to your very special country!

► Я помню наше замешательство, когда аудитория Будокана не отреагировала так, как мы привыкли, и когда мы спросили нашего промоутера, почему, он сказал, что мы должны сказать им, что им разрешено участвовать с музыкой и делать все, что они хотят, например, петь, танцевать, аплодировать и выходить перед сценой, если они того пожелают!

На следующий вечер после объявления Бьёрна у публики приподнялась крыша, и мы все были счастливы!
Отель New Otani в Токио был особенным: за окнами нашего отеля располагалось огромное тренировочное поле. Мы попробовали традиционный японский массаж, и в течение многих лет я хранил халат, в ткань которого было вплетено название «Новый Отани» пока он не стал почти прозрачным, и мне наконец пришлось его выбросить!
Однажды ночью я проснулся со странным чувством. Моя кровать двигалась, и прошло несколько секунд, прежде чем я понял, что это произошло из-за землетрясения и что все здание покачивается. Слава богу, это длилось недолго!

И я помню, как мы вчетвером гуляли по торговому району Гиндза и, к нашему удивлению, заметили, что мы гиганты по сравнению с деликатными японцами, а позже мы с Бенни пробрались в кинотеатр, где они показывали фильм с Элизабет Тейлор, который был дублирован на японский язык с английскими субтитрами!!!

Окончательно, Я не могу написать это, не упомянув вкусную японскую еду. Это было кулинарное приключение для четырех молодых шведов.
