I was hooked on Italo Holiday with the very first track which is Ranger's instantly mesmerizing "Time." With its stunning keyboard wizardry it's a haunting piece that just engages and hypnotizes you.

"Look Into My Eyes" by Aldo Lesina, will put you under its hypnotic electronic spell. Lesina sings about being away on holiday, meeting that special someone with which there is an electric romantic attraction. The time has come to make love, but your paramour's lips say "No, no." But their contradicting eyes say, "Oh yes."
Momento's catchy "Dark Is The Night" reminds me of the electronic 1980's with it synth pop-ish feel complete with 80's sounding background vocals.
While away on holiday Alan Brando finds love and sings out for all the world to hear, "I Wanna Love You." The song is astonishingly effervescent, with sparkling keyboard work that adds to the excited passionately sung vocals.

We all have encountered artists that (for you) can do no wrong, or can’t make a song that you don't like. For me it’s a lengthy list that includes Siberian Heat, Johnny M5, Mirko Hirsch and many others. I add to that list Tommy Sun. Tommy Sun's previous releases "Lover Boy," and "Dancer" thrilled me. I'm also thrilled with his new release "Magic Carillon.” It is a piece of Italo magic that gets inside of you, grooves your mind and moves your body.

I don't know what went wrong while he was away on holiday, but Boris Zhivago defiantly sings "No More Love." The song is exquisite, so I must say that if this is what being out of love does to Boris, then I hope that he never falls in love again, what a fantastic song. Some people are at their most creative when their love affair has ended and they are depressed, angry, and hurting. In his pain Boris Zhivago has created one excellent song about his disillusionment with a love.

"Holiday," by R&M is pure Italo. With its male/female trade off vocals that excite when they hit that "oh ooooh oh." It’s perfect for tropical nights filled with the ecstasy of sizzling electronics, spirited keyboards, and pounding drum machines; Italo doesn't get any better than this.

This wonderful Italo Holiday getaway was produced by Ken Martina, who also contributed a song of his own, the beautiful "Memories" that contains keyboards droning thick with despair that seem to echo Ken's lament of a love lost to time.

Though Ken Martina produces each track on Italo Holiday his touch is not heavy handed as each act possesses its own personality. For example Tommy Sun's “Magic Carillon” possesses a sort of exciting rolling thunder sound (sounds like it’s made with vibrating saw blades) that is a trademark that you find in some of his previous releases. The same with Boris Zhivago, as “No More Love” has this catchy sound that’s akin to someone striking a metal pipe six times with a hammer. It goes 1234-5-6, and this trademark sound can be found in his "In A World Of Fantasy."
