The Raiders was a South African-Indian instrumental band from Durban, operating in the 1960s. Over a relative short period of time they recorded five albums for the independent Durban label RAJ Records. All indications are that the Raiders was a working band, hired for private functions in the Indian, Coloured and African communities surrounding Durban, South Africa.
